Vector-Borne Disease is Being Prevented in Ecuador!

In August 2023, Compassion told our supporters about 2,756 children in Ecuador that were vulnerable to vector-borne diseases, like yellow fever. Alongside our church partners, we asked supporters, like you, to help fund a well-researched plan to protect these children from these dangerous diseases. 

Because of the generosity of our supporters, our church partners have begun to implement a nationwide awareness and prevention campaign against vector-borne diseases, complete with training, fumigation and mosquito nets for these 2,756 children.

With sincerity, we thank our generous donors for equipping our local church partners to protect and support their communities!
