Restore Health and Dignity Through Proper Sanitation in Bolivia

Donate To This Campaign
Provide 1,125 children in Bolivia with safe bathrooms and vital hygiene training.

In impoverished communities across Bolivia, thousands of children face a grim reality — they lack access to basic sanitation. With no proper bathroom facilities at their churches and child development centers, these vulnerable kids are forced to use ramshackle outhouses or open areas with no privacy or dignity.

This insidious sanitation crisis puts children's health at grave risk from waterborne diseases, diarrhea, parasites and other illnesses caused by poor hygiene. It robs them of safety, erodes their self-worth and hampers their ability to grow and thrive.

But you can help transform their lives by supporting Compassion's solution to poor sanitation in Bolivia. Your donation will provide:

  • Construction of eight new bathroom facilities with 63 toilets, 42 sinks and 17 urinals at local churches.
  • Hygiene training to teach 1,125 children lifesaving habits like handwashing and tooth brushing.
  • Education for parents so they can reinforce healthy practices at home.

With your generous gift, these children can finally experience the basic dignity of using a safe, clean bathroom. They'll learn critical hygiene skills to prevent sickness and disease. And their families will be empowered to maintain good sanitation for years to come.

The total cost for this comprehensive solution is $107,168. We can reach our fundraising goal when 429 compassionate people donate just $250 each.

Give now and help unlock the impact of proper sanitation — protecting precious children's health, providing privacy and restoring dignity across impoverished communities in Bolivia.
