What is charity streaming?
Charity streaming is when content creators partner with a nonprofit organization to run a live stream to raise awareness and funds for a cause they care about. They incentivize their viewers to donate to the cause by giving them rewards for their donation, like shoutouts during the live stream. You can stream these events on any streaming platform like Youtube or Twitch.
What can I stream?
You can stream anything you want for however long you want, whether that be gaming, cooking, singing, or whatever you are passionate about. All we ask is that your content be clean, appropriate, and representative of Compassion’s Christian values.
Our streaming guidelines include:
- No profanity, inappropriate language or content that is discriminatory, sexually explicit, racist, or misogynistic
- No display of illegal substances or paraphernalia
- No intoxication during the stream
