He needs chemotherapy to fight leukemia.

Our partners in Bangladesh just let us know about an urgent need to provide cancer treatment for a 14-year-old boy whose life is at risk.

Getting sick with acute myeloid leukemia is the latest of many struggles in this young teenager’s life. After his father died, his mother remarried and left him to be raised by his grandparents, who earn paltry wages as tea garden workers. Adding to his challenges, he started bleeding from several parts of his body earlier this year. That’s when he visited a hospital and discovered he had leukemia.

We’re urgently trying to raise support for this teenager, whose grandparents can’t afford the care he needs to fight the disease. Once fully funded, this project will enable him to receive ongoing chemotherapy and follow-up care. Without treatment, his doctors fear he might not survive the leukemia.

Would you donate toward this lifesaving care for a boy in need?
